Good Luck to Ingrid and Florida J for the World Equestrian Games in August!

On Friday and Saturday 29th of March almost 400 participants collected for 4 international endurance competitions. It was the 160km of Friday and the 120km competition of Saturday which were the most important, these were selections for the European Championships Juniors and the World Equestrian Games which will take place on 28/08/2014 in Normandy. 3 Belgian combinations are in the running for a qualification for the WEG, one of them is Mrs. Celen Ingrid with her Florida J, bred by Christine Jamar.
Friday 90 combinations started the 160km competition, including the best European and French endurance riders, after 120km the 3 Belgian riders were still in the top 12 but only Ingrid Celen got it to the finish. She and her Florida J achieved a fantastic 11th place with more than 19km/h. She even slowed down the last 20km , this to avoid any risk. Florida J became in the picture lately, but now she seems to be achieving the highest level. With this 11th place she has a very big chance to participate the World Equestian Games in Normandy.
