A tribute to Eberia

It is with great sadness that we said farewell to an iconic mare. The 28 years old Eberia left us for greener pastures.

Eberia was a pure Polish mare that was bought in 2005 by Christine from Michalow State Stud at the Pride of Poland. She was a daughter of Ecaho, Polish stallion and grandson of the famous Bandos, and was born out of the Polish mare Ebola.

Those origins ensured her of a magnificent flying trot, which always provided her with the highest points for movement. She did great at several shows in 2007, for example in Towerlands, UK where she was Silver Champion Senior Mare and the same year in Aken where she had the highest points of all participating horses.

Eberia was not only a brilliant show horse, she also excelled in the breeding department where she produced some great offspring. Esmeralda J (by Emerald J) and Eros J (by Shael Dream Desert) are some names that might sound familiar to your ears. Emotion J (by Extreme) is still standing at our stud and will be responsible of perpetuating those precious genes now.

Eberia peacefully left to join her old friend Galia in forever green pastures. We will miss her, but above all, we want to thank her for the many healthy & happy years that she spent with us.
